The focus at the Roddy house during the summer of 2007 was on the Breast Cancer 3-Day. Patty, Rebekah and Bethany undertook the 60 mile, 3-Day walk to raise money for breast cancer research. Patty is a glorious survivor and has been cancer free since 2005. As they trained for the 3-Day, the girls found a lot of things to laugh about...It is good medicine for very tired and aching feet! Their team, The Little Team that Could, was joined by a dear friend, Kim Knight, as the fourth member. So, starting at 5:30am on Friday, September 7, 2007, the adventure began! |

| Garage Sale...the first big event was a huge success. Our driveway, front deck and whole front lawn was covered with quality merchandise donated by around 50 families and businesses. The stories that people shared were wonderful and encouraging and the event brought in just over $3,000. | |
| Dance for the Cure...the last fundraising event they did was held on Sunday, August 19, 2007 from 7pm to 10pm. The money raised at the dance provided the balance of the minimums all three needed to reach. |  |
